Of Waves and Light
On that morning I woke up late and I was almost sure I was going to miss sunrise. I quickly made myself a coffee and jumped straight into the car. I ended up getting a couple fines for speeding (just 10km/h above the limit). Both fines on the same street, one after the other a few kilometres away. What a great start of the weekend!
At least, once I arrived at my location, Bronte Beach, I already knew the photo I wanted to take since I’d planned it the day before. The light was great and with good surprise there were great waves, waiting for me to take some amazing shots.
What a joy, that great light hitting the wave at the right angle and forming that beautiful effect that as a landscape photographer makes you want to jump of happiness. That’s how I felt in that moment, when standing on my usual rock in the middle of the water at Bronte Beach, I captured this photo.
This is a single exposure image and these are my camera settings for this shot.
Camera: Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II
Focal Length: 90
